“Geneva is a UN city, and we work day-to-day with the multilateral system. We know of the benefits of collaboration. We need to continue this path of transformation”.

“We need a planet where inclusive practices are an everyday thing, where multilevel cooperation is a reality, and where the national governments understand that local and regional governments are fundamental to the implementation of all agreements at the international level“.

“Only a true multilevel approach will be able to fully achieve transformation. We as mayors of the world call for a renewed structure of governance. With our own responsibilities, mayor should represent ourselves. We pleaded for a seat at the table. Now it is time to deliver“.

“In a renewed multilateral system, collaboration, co-creation and joint decision-making with civil society will ensure that global policies are developed in an open format based on inclusion, diversity and the specific priorities of each region of the world.“.

“On the way to the celebration to UN75, we have set global goals on the 2030 agenda – the SDGs. They are ambitious and every day we have take action to ensure a better world for future generations, no one left behind and accountability and transparency”.
